General Service & Tire Technician:

Overview:

Our company is looking for an experienced Tire and General Service Technician for our Hamburg location, Cleve Hill Auto has been family owned for 45 years providing 5 star customer service.

Responsibilities:

Inspect tires on vehicles before and after installation Perform tire rotations, balancing and other maintenance tasks Perform oil changes, checking fluid levels, replace worn parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings etc. Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust. Must be able to lift, carry and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting

Professional Qualifications:

Must be proficient in general vehicle inspections, changing tires, and completing oil changes Minimum 2 years of experience in an auto shop/mechanic setting strongly preferred Proven knowledge of vehicle maintenance operations Ability to work a flexible schedule with great attendance.

•All candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR history.
