Job Description
Quality Process Technician Help Ensure Quality Through Accurate Testing and Data As a Quality Process Technician at Pro Performance Wheels, you'll perform technical testing and measurements, operate specialized quality equipment, and accurately collect and document data used to evaluate our materials, manufacturing processes, equipment, and finished aluminum wheels. This is a hands-on quality role that combines laboratory testing, precision measurement, data collection, and reporting. You'll work primarily in our quality lab and learn to use a variety of specialized equipment and testing methods as our manufacturing operation continues to grow. About Us Our parent company has been in business for more than 25 years and recently launched Pro Performance Wheels, a new aluminum wheel manufacturing operation. We're building our founding team and looking for people who take pride in quality work, value teamwork, and want to grow with us from the start. What You'll Do Perform quality testing and inspections on materials, components, and finished aluminum wheels. Use specialized testing and precision measurement equipment to collect accurate quality data. Read and work from manufacturing blueprints, technical specifications, and established quality procedures. Accurately record testing and measurement results and prepare quality reports and documentation. Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities, including audits, calibration, document control, and related quality processes. Assist with quality activities throughout the manufacturing operation. Does This Sound Like You? Strong mechanical and technical aptitude A commitment to accuracy and precision in testing, measurements, and documentation Comfortable working independently Interested in understanding how equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes work together Adaptable and comfortable working across a variety of technical responsibilities Ability to assess deviations from specifications and make recommendations Interpret manufacturing blueprints General knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Post-high-school education through a college, university, or technical school, along with 1-2 years of related quality, laboratory, technical testing, metrology, or a combination of additional relevant education and experience, or other highly relevant work experience Experience using precision measurement tools Experience performing testing, measurement, inspection, or other work involving accurate data collection and documentation Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 or
