In this role, you will be responsible for refurbishing and retreading tires to extend their lifespan, ensuring safety, durability, and performance. Your hands-on expertise will help deliver high-quality products that meet industry standards. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will drive success and growth. Duties U nderstanding tire retreading specifications and procedures. Prepare tires for retreading by inspecting for damage, cleaning, and performing necessary repairs using hand tools and power tools. Apply bonding agents and rubber compounds accurately to ensure proper adhesion during the retreading process. Operate machinery such as CNC lathes, machining tools, and calipers to shape and measure tire components precisely. Assemble retreaded tires by aligning components correctly. Conduct quality checks throughout the process, ensuring each tire meets manufacturing standards before final inspection. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly handling waste materials and performing routine equipment maintenance. Need to be able to work under various climates , such as summer heat. Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical work, manufacturing, or tire retreading is highly preferred, but not required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly procedures, and machining operations. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement devices . Familiarity with CNC lathes or machining equipment is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail and safety compliance. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
