Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks Perform wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical repairs Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete service tasks Diagnose automotive issues using standard diagnostic procedures and tools Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs Lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service procedures while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Prior dealership or automotive shop experience is highly preferred Mechanical experience with vehicles, including minor mechanical repairs and diagnostics Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and automotive fluid replacement procedures Knowledge of automotive tools, hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment Ability to perform tire service, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance confidently Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is often required Embark on a rewarding career where your mechanical skills make a real difference!
