Tire Technician Dumbauld's Tire Service is looking for a dependable, hardworking Tire Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of providing safe, quality service to our customers. Previous tire or automotive experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Mount, dismount, balance, and install tires on a variety of vehicles. Perform tire rotations, repairs, and flat repairs. Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns. Perform tire pressure checks and adjustments. Assist with basic automotive maintenance and shop services. Properly operate tire changers, wheel balancers, lifts, and other shop equipment. Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly handle and store tires, wheels, parts, and equipment. Assist with loading and unloading tire shipments and organizing inventory. Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers when needed. Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining quality and safety standards. Qualifications Previous tire or automotive experience preferred, but not required . Willingness to learn and follow proper procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Good attention to detail and commitment to safety. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to lift and move tires and automotive equipment as needed. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred. Customer service skills are a plus. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on position requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and moving tires and automotive equipment. The ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position is required. Additional Requirements Pre-employment drug testing required. Pre-employment physical required.
