Job Description
Mount, dismount, and repair class 8 tractor and trailer tires, including sorting and storing of tire casings. Responsibilities Mount tires for tractors and trailers Dismount take off tires as needed Sort tires ready for recapping based on casing age Ability to identify a recap tire. Ability to identify tire failure vs tire damage Load and unload tires with forklift onto storage trailers Load and unload tires with forklift onto vendor delivery truck Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of class 8 tractor and trailer tire characteristics. Ability to obtain a forklift license through an inhouse licensing program and operate a forklift safely at all times. Education/Experience Experience handling class 8 tires preferred.
