Memphis, TN Job Details Full-time $24 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Relocation assistance Qualifications Heavy lifting Experience working in the automotive repair industry Attention to detail Power tools Hand tools Commercial vehicle Full Job Description Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an OTR (Off the Road) Tire Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing heavy-duty tires for commercial off-road vehicles. This job also pays commission on all service labor performed. Responsibilities Dismount, mount and repair OTR tires on a wide range of equipment such as: Wheel Loaders, Motor Graders, Tractors, Asphalt Pavers, Articulated Dumps, Container Handlers, HD Lift Trucks, etc. Perform tire mounting and dismounting with a mini-boom crane truck. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to service tires and perform repairs with precision. Lift heavy tires and equipment safely during installation or removal tasks, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Previous OTR tire experience is required. Hands-on mechanic experience with heavy machinery or off-the-road vehicles is a strong asset. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment is required for efficient job performance. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during tire service or mechanical repairs.
