Conduct minor mechanical repairs including brake inspections, suspension checks, and other vehicle diagnostics. Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and providing excellent customer service to foster trust and loyalty. Use automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues related to tires or vehicle systems requiring attention. Lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a focus on tire service preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger vehicles and basic automotive diagnostics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive fluid replacement techniques. Ability to perform alignment adjustments and minor mechanical repairs efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities. Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures including oil changes and vehicle inspections. Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions; safety-conscious mindset.
