Duties Perform oil changes on various vehicle types using standard hand tools and power tools, following manufacturer specifications and safety procedures Replace tires, perform tire rotations, and conduct wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues requiring minor repairs or fluid replacements Assist with minor mechanical repairs such as brake inspections, fluid top-offs, and vehicle maintenance tasks Use mechanical knowledge to operate equipment safely, lift heavy components, and utilize automotive repair tools effectively Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use Experience Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures Mechanic experience with standard passenger cars, including oil changes, tire service, and basic mechanical repairs Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement procedures, wheel alignment techniques, and minor mechanical repairs Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment required for efficient job performance Ability to lift heavy vehicle components safely and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent attention to detail ensures quality work on every vehicle serviced Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while explaining services performed This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their automotive repair expertise in a lively team environment.
