Tire and Lube Technician I Cy-Fair Tire Road Service Houston, TX Full-time Tire Technician Description:

As a Cy-Fair Tire Road Service Tire Technician you will perform tire service and repair work as well as basic general service functions on customer vehicles (all sizes), fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis and other duties as required. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires from passenger to large trucks. Attending meetings held by manager. Unloading/Loading trucks and restocking new inventory Maintaining tools and equipment Sweeping floors, keeping work area clean and free from hazards Operating a forklift. Using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines and comply with all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. Any other duties requested by management.

Requirements:

Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and clean driving record. Previous experience is preferred but will train the right individual. Frequent bending, twisting and lifting over 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Environment is very hot during summer months and cold during winter months. Must possess a mechanical aptitude. Some shift work and/or work on Saturdays will be required. Must be able to pass a physical exam, background screening and drug test.
