TIRE TECHNICIAN

Well established, family-owned and operated, Material Handling dealership, looking for a Tire Technician to join our team. This fast-paced full-time position is based out of our Auburn, Washington location. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work and will play a key parts and service role for the best customers in the state of Washington.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Tire Technician will provide professional, timely, and accurate repair of customer material handling equipment. Incumbent will be responsible for building excellent relationships with customers. For your development, formal as well as "On the Job Training" will be provided by Mid Columbia Forklift. Must have a valid and current Washington State Driver's License and an excellent driving record.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EXPECTATIONS

Required Provide customer service including tire replacement, tire and/or bearings evaluation Service may be performed either on the road as service calls or in the shop as repairs or maintenance. Quote and schedule all tire replacement jobs. Place all tire replenishment stock orders. Receive all tire orders and place all tires in their assigned locations. Maintain all tire install equipment and tooling. Inspect, repair, and replace tires on units; perform road and field services as required. Requisition all necessary materials and equipment needed to perform tire maintenance, repair and replacement. Adhere to the safety culture of the department; ensure the adherence of safe work practices and procedures; ensure compliance of Federal, State Local Laws, codes and regulations. Fully support our After Market team in administration of all things "Tire" including, but not limited to documenting, tracking, quoting filing, organizing tire administrative functions as needed. Actively seeks out administrative tasks, functions, and responsibilities with little to no direct supervision. "Develop & Build up" the Tire operations skill set, and experience required to be a successful After Market specialist overtime. Physical Requirements Must be able to repetitively sit, stoop, bend, push, pull, squat, climb and kneel on a regular basis. Must be physically able to repetitively lift 50 pounds unaided. Must be physically able to operate / drive, a company van/truck Desired Qualifications Excellent organizational and project management skills, including ability to organize time, work on multiple tasks and follow through to completion of tasks or projects. Being self-motivated and able to problem solve unaided Minimum of 3 years "hands on" service experience with an excellent performance record. Familiarity with Light and Heavy-duty equipment Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, duties, and responsibilities. Quality

• Background Check, MVR, and passing of Drug Test which includes THC as this is classified as a safety sensitive position.
