JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the proper, dismounting, mounting, pressing, repairing of tires on lift trucks and related equipment. Ensuring proper handling of customer's equipment according to OSHA standards, disposal of scrap tires and safe operation of customer and company vehicles. Complete and manage paperwork for each job. Provide exceptional customer service on job sites and traveling in company vehicle.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proper and safe handling of customer equipment.
  • Complete mounting/dismounting of all tire types.
  • Safe pressing and reinstallation of all tire types.
  • Operate independently or as a team member as job requires.
  • Transporting and retrieving Conger equipment using delivery truck as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policy and procedures.
  • Must provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Clear background and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Valid Driver's License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • CDL B preferred
  • Two years of Material Handling Industry diagnostics and repair preferred.
  • Experience with relevant software applicants such as but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; use of smartphones, computer/tablet.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work Environment:
Typically a large, open area with designated workstations for repairs and maintenance. Access to various hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery. An organized area for storing replacement parts and supplies. Requirement to wear PPE. Collaboration with other technicians and support staff. A mix of routine maintenance and complex repairs, often with tight deadlines. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize based on urgently.
Physical Demands:
Close attention to detail is necessary for repairs. Frequently lift objects up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. May also need to move heavy objects. Use hand tools that require accurate control and steadiness. Common physical activities include stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and sitting. May be exposed to hazardous conditions and equipment.
