Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oil and Tire Technician to join our team. Although no experience is required for this entry level position, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance, with a focus on tire service. As an Oil and Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles by providing high-quality oil and tire services and maintenance. Pay range listed includes starting base wage and bonus wages distributed at an hourly rate. Qualified experienced technicians may qualify for more rapid advancement based on performance. Duties Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs with precision and care. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various automotive services. Diagnose automotive issues and provide solutions based on mechanical knowledge. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Assist in sales efforts by recommending additional services based on customer requirements. Handle heavy lifting as required for tire changes and other maintenance tasks. Additional customer service duties as needed at onsite carwash Qualifications Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred, but no experience is required to apply. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics. Familiarity with tire service techniques, including alignment and balancing. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience as a service technician is a plus, along with any sales experience related to automotive services.
