Duties

MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS. MUST BE ON TIME.

Perform oil changes on a variety of vehicles using standard passenger car operation procedures and automotive fluid replacement techniques. Conduct tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, repairs and replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Assist with minor mechanical repairs such as brake inspections, alignments, and vehicle maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools. Use mechanical knowledge to perform vehicle inspections, mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance tasks efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards for heavy lifting and mechanical repair procedures. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate. Skills Dealership experience or service technician experience is highly preferred but not required for a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems. Strong mechanic experience with knowledge of standard passenger car operation and automotive diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks. Experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil change procedures, tire service, and vehicle maintenance. Ability to perform alignment checks and minor mechanical repairs confidently. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs. Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual repairs safely.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
