Job Description
Job Overview Join our experienced team as a Tower Technician and become a vital part of expanding and maintaining the telecommunications infrastructure. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing cell towers and related equipment to ensure seamless wireless communication. Your expertise will help connect communities, support 5G, 4G/LTE, and other cellular technologies, and uphold the highest safety standards in outdoor, high-angle environments. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, climb towers, and utilize advanced telecommunications testing equipment. Responsibilities Perform tower climbing and antenna tower installation, maintenance, and repair following blueprint specifications and safety protocols. Conduct radio frequency (RF) testing to verify signal quality and ensure optimal network performance across 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G systems. Use hand tools, fall protection gear, and ropes/straps to safely rig, lift, and install antennas, cabling, and other tower components. Follow federal construction safety regulations during all field service activities to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Perform telecommunication testing using specialized equipment to troubleshoot issues related to cell tower RF testing, cabling, and overall system performance. Assist in rigging operations for heavy equipment or materials needed during tower construction or upgrades. Conduct outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining strict safety protocol adherence during climbing or working at high angles. Qualifications Experience in the industry is appreciated but are willing to teach and train those who are willing to learn Experience in climbing, rigging, and working at heights Applicants must be able to perform physically demanding work Cooperation with crew members to complete various tasks Willingness to travel weekly to various locations in Kentucky and surrounding states This is a great opportunity to learn a trade with a local company that values hard work and rewards dedication.
