Position:

Director of Pharmacy plus PIC

Skills required: Inpatient; behavioral health a plus

Texas Pharmacist licensure required

Dates of Coverage needed: Start October 1st to overlap with outgoing DOP and cover until perm hired

Coverage Hours needed: Monday-Friday 0700-1500 plus on call

Occasional weekend coverage needed: Sat-Sun 0600-1100

Order Entry System:

HCS; experience a plus but not required

Site Automation:

Omnicell; experience a plus but not required

Site Specialty Areas:

Adults 18+

Staff Size:

1 FT tech, 1 PT tech, 3 per diem tech, 3 per diem

RPH, 1 PT

Rph/Tech support: 1 Rph, 1 Tech per shift - techs fill & deliver orders, inventory management

Site Background/History/Expectations:

o Site is stable, there is a newer PT pharmacist that is still training, some staffing issues

o Last JC visit: 9/17/25

o Last State Board of Pharmacy visit: 11/5/25

o Top priorities of the account: Staffing and maintaining operations until new DOP hired

Job Responsibilities:

Staffing, DOP committee work

Overlap training with outgoing DOP will be provided
