Job Description:
NATIONAL RETAIL TRANSPORTATION
is hiring experienced CDL-A Switchers (Yard Jockeys) to join our team in Compton, CA! We have multiple full-time opportunities across various shifts.
What You'll Do:
Safely move trailers within the yard and between docks Maintain accurate trailer inventory and yard organization Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams to support smooth operations

Job Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications Current DOT physical certification Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
