OnDemand Staffing is reopening its Orlando operation and is actively recruiting 30-60 Traffic Control Flaggers to support construction and roadway projects throughout Orange County and the surrounding area. These positions offer approximately 40+ hours per week , with day shift opportunities starting at $16.00/hour and overnight shifts at $17.50/hour . Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors, standing for extended periods, following safety procedures, and maintaining focus in active construction environments. OnDemand Staffing is a second-chance employer and does not currently require criminal background checks or drug screening for these positions. New hires will attend a required 4-hour certification class that is unpaid, but participants retain their industry certification upon completion. TBD Main Responsibilities Direct traffic: Use stop/slow paddles, flags, or hand signals to manage alternating one-way traffic.

Set up work zones:

Place cones, barricades, and warning signs to close lanes.

Communicate:

Communicate with other flaggers and crew members using two-way radios to coordinate traffic flow.

Protect the crew:

Watch for distracted or aggressive drivers to help keep workers safe.

Job Requirements Certification:

On Demand will provide the required certification (4 Hour Paid Class)which will take place on Saturday mornings.

Physical stamina:

Must be able to stand for long periods outdoors in all weather conditions.

High alertness:
