• Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Traffic Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring the safe flow of traffic at work sites.

• Responsibilities:

• Direct traffic at Work zones to ensure the safety of workers and the public
• Coordinate with work crews to facilitate the movement of vehicles safely through the work zone
• Use signaling devices and signs to guide drivers through work zones
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust control measures as needed
• Read a traffic control plan and execute it as prepared by the Traffic Saftey Manager
• Take online training and testing

• Skills:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment on a construction site
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and drivers efficiently
• Ability to use a computer, phone, and tablet as needed
• Requirements
• High School Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years old
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to travel out of local area and out of state when needed
• Ability to spend the night out of the local area and out of state when needed
• Ability to communicate with the public, fellow staff, state workers, and first responders in english
• Able to stand for more than 4 hours continuously
• Lift 50lbs on a regular basis This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic work environment and develop your skills in traffic control operations.
