Roadway Maintenance Worker Requirements:
Minimum of one (1) year of infrastructure maintenance experience and roadway equipment operations preferred. Employer will train Valid Drivers' License Two or less driving infractions within the last three years Background check and drug screening Creative Management Technology is seeking Maintenance Workers to support field activities and equipment for routine maintenance services on non-interstate roadways for the Florida Department of Transportation in Brevard and Orange counties. The projects include all labor, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to perform routine maintenance and repair activities associated with roadway infrastructure, drainage infrastructure, roadside vegetation and aesthetics, traffic services, and emergency response.
Responsibilities:
Work includes asphalt repair, repair of non-paved shoulders, roadside slopes, ditches, sodding, drainage structures, concrete sidewalks, landscaping, guardrails, fences, and other miscellaneous structures. T asks change frequently depending on current roadway situations. Ensure that the crew follows safety protocols, including work zone traffic control.
