Job Description
The Town of Wayland seeks qualified candidates for a Medium Equipment Operator position with the Department of Public Works. This position performs a variety journeymen level tasks associated with the maintenance, repair and construction of DPW assets, including but not limited to: construction/ maintenance/repair of roads, streets and bridges; set-up work zones with appropriate safety guidelines; maintains/erects traffic markings, signs, and curbs; constructs/maintains drainage systems; plows/removes snow; and grounds work as necessary. Must have a HS Diploma and at least (2) years of related experience in public works, maintenance work or groundskeeping work. Must have and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver's License.
