Job Description
RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Pavement Marking Technician to support roadway and construction projects. In this field role, you will operate company trucks and equipment to apply pavement markings, set up and remove traffic control devices, and ensure work zones meet strict safety standards. Responsibilities include loading materials, following project layouts, reading plans, and assisting with jobsite cleanup and maintenance. Responsibilities Operate trucks and pavement marking equipment on roadway and construction projects Apply pavement markings according to project layouts and specifications Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices to protect work zones Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and supplies Read and follow basic traffic plans and work orders Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs Assist with jobsite housekeeping and safe work practices Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and DOT regulations Required Skills Commercial driving (CDL) Pavement marking equipment operation Traffic control and flagging Reading basic traffic plans and layouts DOT and work zone safety compliance Equipment inspection and basic maintenance Material handling and load securement Use of hand and power tools Personal protective equipment (PPE) use Recordkeeping and basic paperwork
