POSITION SUMMARY
Access Road Safety, LLC is seeking dependable, safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing traffic safely through work zones while protecting the public, fellow employees, and contractors. All traffic control operations must be performed in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), 11th Edition , company policies, and applicable state and local regulations. Responsibilities Direct and control vehicle traffic through construction and maintenance work zones. Inspect, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control devices according to MUTCD 11th Edition standards. Use
STOP/SLOW
paddles, flags, and approved hand signals to safely direct motorists. Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and the public. Monitor work zones for hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately. Assist with lane closures, detours, and temporary traffic control operations. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while interacting with the public. Follow all OSHA, DOT, company, and safety regulations. Work Location In person Strong organizational and communication skills are key, as you will also assist with scheduling upcoming projects and maintaining effective customer relations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous flagging or traffic control experience preferred but not required. Current Flagger Certification preferred (training may be provided for qualified candidates). Working knowledge of MUTCD 11th Edition standards is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Strong communication and situational awareness skills. Requirements Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (if applicable). Valid driver's license is preferred. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including high-visibility safety apparel that meets
ANSI/ISEA
standards. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or nights as needed.
