Assist Services has immediate openings for construction-based Traffic Flaggers working in the Bridgeport, OH area. ASL works all phases of traffic control and flagging for roadway utility work. Assist Services is holding open interviews for Roadway Flagging positions! Interviews will be from 9a-3p on Thursday, October 1st at our field office located at 55688 Industrial Dr. Bridgeport, OH 43912. As a Flagger, you will be setting up work zones along the roadway, per MUTCD Standards, and controlling the flow of traffic to ensure a safe work zone for our customers. We strive to improve our flagger's work conditions by employing an extra employee on all crews to allow incremental breaks!

• No experience is required but our customers have strict guidelines and safety requirements, and you must be willing and able to learn.

Daily Job Responsibilities:

Safely set up road signs, traffic cones, and/or any other equipment to direct traffic around the work area. Control oncoming traffic with signs to ensure the road crews are able to operate safely. Be knowledgeable of the surrounding roads, so oncoming traffic could be further directed, if they were to stop and ask. Communicate with crew members over radios, through hand signals, or flags. Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of those on the roadways.

Candidates Must Be Able To:

Work 8 - 12-hour shift Travel out of state for days at a time Be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time Lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally) Be outside in weather elements for extended periods of time Have a valid Driver's License with clean driving record (NO DUI's or excessive points) Pass a standard criminal background check, work verification check, 10-panel drug screen, and fit for duty physical We offer an above average wage, yearly guaranteed raises on top of merit-based raises, paid time off, paid training, company supplied PPE.
