Job Description:

Job Summary Barrett Paving Materials is seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Flagger to support construction and paving operations throughout the Mid West Central region. The Flagger plays a critical role in maintaining safe traffic flow around work zones, protecting crew members, pedestrians, and the traveling public while ensuring projects run efficiently. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Previous flagging or construction experience is a plus, but not required Ability to obtain or maintain required flagger certification Strong verbal communication skills Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures precisely Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capable of lifting and moving traffic control equipment as needed Vision and awareness sufficient to observe traffic and jobsite hazards Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as required by project schedules Colas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
