Job Description
Position:
Traffic Control Flagger:
Control and direct the flow of traffic using hand signals, flags, and other approved methods in compliance with local traffic control regulations and company guidelines.Safety Protocols:
Implement and enforce safety measures and protocols to protect construction workers, motorists, and pedestrians within work zones or areas under traffic control, in accordance with company policies.Communication:
Effectively communicate with construction workers, equipment operators, and motorists to provide clear instructions and ensure safe traffic flow.REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable source of communication to receive daily work schedule.
- Reliable transportation to get to job sites in Northeast Ohio.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and interact professionally with coworkers, customers, and pedestrians.
- Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, often in varying weather conditions while lifting 201bs.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and traffic control plans accurately while upholding safety protocols.
