Job Description

RoadSafe Traffic Systems seeks Traffic Control Drivers/Laborers to support roadway construction and utility projects. In this role, you will drive company trucks to and from job sites, load and unload traffic control equipment, and set up, maintain, and remove cones, barrels, signs, and message boards according to traffic control plans. You'll work outdoors in all weather, follow strict safety procedures, and communicate with crew members and the public to keep work zones safe. Responsibilities Safely drive company vehicles to and from traffic control job sites Load, unload, and organize traffic control equipment, signs, and materials Set up, monitor, and remove work zone traffic control according to plans Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company procedures Communicate with crew members, contractors, and the public to maintain safe traffic flow Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any damage or safety issues Work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions Accurately follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors Support pavement marking and related construction activities as needed Required Skills Traffic control setup and teardown Safe operation of work trucks Flagging and work zone safety procedures Reading basic traffic control plans Use of cones, signs, and barricades Equipment loading and securing PPE and safety compliance Basic hand and power tool use Two-way radio and on-site communication Time management on active job sites
