Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Flagger, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow around active work zones. As a Flagger, you will be responsible for directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic in accordance with safety protocols, helping to protect workers and the public during various construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on civil infrastructure projects, contributing to essential roadway maintenance and improvements. Your energetic presence and attention to safety will keep our work sites secure and efficient. Duties Safely direct traffic around construction zones using standardized flagging equipment Communicate clearly with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations Set up appropriate warning signs, barricades, cones, and signals before work begins to alert approaching traffic of ongoing operations Monitor work zones continuously for hazards or unsafe behaviors and take corrective actions as needed Assist with the setup and removal of traffic control devices in accordance with regulations Report any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors and emergency services if necessary Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, traffic flow patterns, and safety observations Requirements Monday through Friday with overtime opportunities Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout the shift Ability to stand on your feet for 8+ hours at a time Strong communication skills for clear signaling and coordination on busy construction sites Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods Join us as a Flagger if you're passionate about safety, enjoy outdoor work environments, and want to be part of impactful infrastructure projects.
