Certified Flaggers Details:
Temporary position $21.00 to $23.00 /hour Full Time work available Weekend work required First Shift (Monday through Friday) Set out signs, cones and barricades around work areas to divert traffic Flag motorists to warm them of obstacles and repair work ahead Will be working in the outdoor elements (extreme heat, cold and/or rain) Will be controlling a signal device (paddle) Follow all safety precautions to protect motorists and construction workers. Coordinate traffic signals with construction crews and other flaggers. Load and unload equipment and materials Other duties as assigned by leadership
Certified Flaggers Qualifications:
Must have reliable transportation to and from various worksites Must be willing to travel Must have ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand on cement for entire shift Must have current/valid Utah Flagging Certificate Must be able to work flexible schedules and stand for 8 to 12 hours throughout a shift Must be willing to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all team members Ability to bend at the waist, stoop, squat, and bend at the knees as required on a regular basis Ability to reach above the head including full upper body mobility Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
