We are currently working at various locations throughout San Luis Obispo County and are looking for someone with hands-on experience in aerial fiber and pole-line construction.

Responsibilities & Experience:

Read and interpret make-ready prints Place, lash, transfer, and secure aerial fiber Set utility poles using a digger derrick Safely operate trucks and digger derricks Install anchors, strand, and guy wire Identify and clear GO 95 corrections/violations Perform pole transfers and other pole-line construction Troubleshoot and resolve field issues Complete daily production reports and required documentation Maintain quality and productivity standards Follow all OSHA, utility, and company safety requirements Work outdoors in various weather conditions and comfortably work at heights

Qualifications:

Previous telecommunications/fiber construction experience is required. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, able to work independently as well as with a crew, and have a strong understanding of aerial construction practices. CDL preferred

Work Location:

Various job sites throughout San Luis Obispo County, CA.

Pay:

From $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
