Back Aerial Lineman Aerial Lineman Micanopy , Florida Direct Hire Aug 6, 2026 Gridsource is seeking an experienced construction Aerial Lineman in the Micanopy, FL area . This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead power lines, telecommunications lines, and other aerial systems. This role involves working at heights and requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and technical skills. Pay Rate $25 - $28 per hour depending on experience. 3

Years Experience What You'll Do:

Safe and effective operation of Bucket Trucks for assigned tasks Mentor new hires as required. Capability to carry and utilize a 28'-32' ft ladder in locations inaccessible by bucket truck (ability to climb is advantageous). Identify opportunities for improvement while creating and implementing viable solutions Availability for emergency repair calls on a 24-hour standby schedule, including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis with other standby crews. Must be able to install & repair exterior cable hardline to include coax, 628 & 875, all counts of fiber & strands Must be proficient in using a lasher Prefer 2 years of experience but will train the right individuals Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility. Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. Work Environment and physical demands:

May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch Must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 95 lbs. Required to lift 32-foot ladder. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. May be required to climb poles (with proper equipment), ladders, and other structures as necessary. Required to work within limited confines, such as crawl spaces, as needed. May occasionally works near moving mechanical parts Must be able to work in an outdoor environment year around in all weather conditions. The May occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock, radiation, and vibration. May be required to work more than 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
