Full Job Description Overview :

Barrow Power is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Underground Lineman to install, maintain, and repair underground electrical systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical distribution and a commitment to working safely in varied environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, splice, terminate, and repair underground power cables Operate excavation and trenching equipment to access utility lines Read and interpret utility maps, blueprints, and work orders Test systems for voltage, grounding, and continuity Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and regulations Work as part of a crew to complete projects on time and within scope

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of experience in underground electrical distribution Knowledge of underground construction methods and safety practices Ability to operate heavy equipment (backhoe, mini-ex, etc.) Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on-call as needed
