HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Provides specialized technical services for construction, operation and maintenance of the utility's electrical distribution system. Work on energized 5 KV, 15 KV, and 34.5 KV overhead and underground distribution lines.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS
A High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary specialized training of not less than two years; specialized courses to meet this requirement include: electricity or electronics and lineman's training courses. Must have a minimum of four years of progressively more responsible experience in work closely related to the work of this position. Previous 15 KV gloving experience. A valid Class A Commercial Drivers' license (CDL). Must hold a Journeyman Lineman Card or equivalent Journeyman experience.
OUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Indoor and outdoor working environment. Outdoor environment included being subjected to hazards from working in an environment of extreme weather conditions. Individual to work forty (40) hours a week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Perform maintenance scheduled and unscheduled overtime (must be available).
