Core Duties:

Diagnose, fix, and examine various hoists and overhead crane systems. Execute routine on-site maintenance and equipment assessments to ensure operational longevity. Assess equipment performance to propose effective repair strategies, techniques, and necessary hardware upgrades. Ensure all service logs, reports, and inspection documentation are filled out with precision and punctuality. Handle the wiring, assembly, and initial installation of new overhead crane units. Provide expert guidance to clients regarding safety protocols and necessary crane repairs. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all safety guidelines. Support the team in keeping a tidy and hazard-free workspace.

Essential Qualifications:

Deep understanding of AC/DC principles and the capability to diagnose 480VAC 3-phase motor control setups. Demonstrated skill in both mechanical and electrical settings, including familiarity with related industrial hardware. Completion of secondary education via a high school diploma or GED. Requirement of a clean driving history and a current, valid driver's license. Flexibility to undertake regional and out-of-town travel as the role demands. Ability to pass all necessary background checks and substance screenings. Maintenance of a valid driver's license and a positive driving record. Background in PLC programming and Variable Frequency drives is considered an advantage. Prior experience with overhead crane maintenance is viewed as a beneficial asset.
