Overhead Crane Technician - up to $42/hr. An established and growing company that has 35 years' experience serving companies with their material handling needs is looking to add an Overhead Crane technician to their growing team near Billings, MT.

Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists Perform on-site scheduled maintenance and inspections on equipment and overhead cranes Evaluate functionality, identify solutions, and make recommendations regarding required repairs, methods, techniques, and/or equipment Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists accurately, timely, and neatly New overhead crane wiring, assembly, installation & start-up Spend time consulting with customers on overhead crane repair and safety related issues Observe all safety procedures and use personal protective gear Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory, as well as the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems. Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment High school diploma or GED equivalent required Good driving record, valid driver's license required Willing and able to travel around the state and out-of-town as required Able to successfully complete background check and drug and alcohol screening(s) Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving record Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming a plus Overhead Crane maintenance experience a plus. #CDIV101

$32.00 - $42.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
