Job Description
Lineman | Position Overview Mighty Services is seeking skilled and motivated Linemen to support the construction, installation, and maintenance of utility infrastructure. This role requires hands-on fieldwork, technical skills, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate brings experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform in physically demanding environments while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Installation & Construction Install, maintain, and repair overhead and/or underground utility systems Set poles, run lines, and perform cable placement and related tasks Operate equipment and tools required for utility construction Field Operations Work as part of a crew to complete projects safely and efficiently Follow job specifications, plans, and project timelines Communicate with crew members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies Use proper PPE and maintain awareness of surroundings at all times Participate in safety meetings and trainings Equipment & Worksite Responsibility Inspect and maintain tools and equipment Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues immediately Qualifications Previous experience as a lineman or in utility/construction field preferred Ability to climb poles, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks Knowledge of utility construction practices and safety standards Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain) Strong teamwork and communication skills Why Mighty Services This is the kind of work that keeps communities running.
