Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Lineman is a highly skilled professional responsible for the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground RF and fiber optic network systems. This role requires specialized training in the operation of equipment used to support aerial and underground infrastructure projects. The Lineman must possess a strong working knowledge of RF and fiber network design, components, and functionality to effectively perform troubleshooting, repairs, and new system installations. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project completion.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Employees will need to pass a pre-employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening. A valid driver's license is required, and a Motor Vehicle Report will be performed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all issued equipment is in good working order and fully charged daily. Complete all assigned work precisely and in a safe and timely manner. Properly track working hours and mileage daily. Maintain the assigned
Company Vehicle:
Provide an initial and monthly Vehicle Inspection. Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and organized. Drive in a safe and responsible manner always. Report any maintenance or performance concerns to management promptly. Refuel Vehicle before falling under ¼ tank. Assigned Gas Card is kept in a secured location. If lost or stolen, Management must be notified immediately.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to work outdoors in all terrains and weather conditions during all times day and night. Must be able to perform near power lines and electricity. Must be able to be outdoors with all aspects of nature to include a variety of insects and plants. Must be able to be exposed to dirt, dust, noise, cleaning solutions, and pets. Must maintain below the maximum weight limitations of the equipment for safety. Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder multiple times daily. Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner for which Customers can understand and find courteous and professional. Must be able to lift 50-80 pound throughout the day. Must be able to enter and work in confined spaces while bending, twisting, and reaching.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Construction and repair of overhead and underground RF and Fiber service. Understand how to read and construct from a design schematic map. Understand all inventory and equipment required for these projects. Ability to climb poles and use climbing equipment safely. Move and relocate RF and Fiber service. Familiar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines. Underground work as needed and directed. Flagger certified for field work as needed. Ability to troubleshoot RF and Fiber line and or equipment issues. Lead teams in the field effectively and efficiently as needed and directed by supervisor. Vehicle and equipment operations from trucks to other equipment as directed and certified. Certified on the use of equipment: Line truck Bucket truck Cable reel equipment Saws and drills

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
