ELECTRIC LINEWORKER TRAINEE
(APPRENTICE) The Village of Westfield Electric Department is accepting applications for an Electric Lineworker Helper (Apprentice Level) for our municipal electric utility.Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma .Special Requirement:
Possession, at time of appointment and during service in this classification, of a valid New York State Motor Vehicle Operator's License appropriate for the type of vehicles which the employee may operate. This is a full- time competitive class civil service position which provides ongoing training and upward mobility within the department. Starting rate of $25.82 per hour. NYS Retirement, Health Insurance, Paid Time Off and other benefits.
