Ground Hand - Overhead Powerline Construction NTX Powerline Services, LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Ground Hand to join our powerline construction crew. This is a field position supporting overhead electric distribution construction, maintenance, and storm restoration projects.

Responsibilities include:

Assist linemen and crew members with construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems Stock, organize, load, and unload line materials, tools, and equipment Frame poles and prepare materials for installation Assist with setting poles, anchors, guys, crossarms, hardware, and related distribution equipment Handle rope, handlines, conductor, grounds, and rigging under the direction of qualified personnel Assist with conductor installation, sagging, dead-ending, and wire-handling operations Set up and maintain safe work zones, including cones, signs, barricades, and traffic-control equipment as required Perform equipment and vehicle inspections and maintain clean, organized trucks and work areas Follow all NTX Powerline Services safety policies, OSHA requirements, customer requirements, and supervisor instructions Perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather and terrain conditions Travel and work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and storm-restoration assignments when required

Qualifications:

Previous utility, powerline, construction, or heavy-equipment experience preferred but not required Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a crew Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and perform strenuous physical work throughout the workday Valid driver's license required CDL preferred Must be able to travel for out-of-town projects when required Must be able to pass required pre-employment and/or customer-required drug screening Must be legally authorized to work in the

United States Compensation:

Starting at $26.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime opportunities are available based on project workload.
