FullTime We are seeking a skilled, safetydriven Certified Lineman / Bucket Truck Operator to support oversize and superload transport operations by raising and managing overhead utility lines along permitted routes. This role is essential to ensuring safe, efficient movement of highprofile loads across multiple states. Key Responsibilities Operate a bucket truck to safely lift, move, or temporarily adjust overhead utility lines and communication cables, remove/replace traffic signals. Coordinate with pilot cars, escort teams, DOT officials, and transport drivers during oversize load moves. Assess overhead clearance hazards and ensure compliance with state and utility regulations. Perform onsite line adjustments, reconnections, and minor repairs as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, route details, and safety procedures. Travel extensively across the lower 48 states; work variable hours including nights and weekends. Required Qualifications Certified Journeyman Lineman (or equivalent recognized certification). Proven experience operating a bucket truck in field conditions. Strong understanding of overhead utility systems, safety protocols, and clearance requirements. Valid drivers license with clean driving record CDL is required!! Ability to work in all weather conditions and adapt to changing job demands. Strong communication skills and ability to work within a coordinated escort team. Zero accidents or recordables Preferred Experience Previous work supporting oversize or superload transport. Familiarity with multistate utility regulations. Experience collaborating with pilot car operators and heavyhaul carriers.
