The Composite Blade Technician will be responsible for internal and external inspections, defect analysis, and up to Category 3- 5 repair of fiberglass and composite blades, spinners, and nacelles from all brands and categories. As a blade technician, you would report to the blade manager. Our client needs determine the sites that you are required to report to, as this position requires travel. The technicians will be required to document the findings, and assemble all associated paperwork as required to be reported for further action. Technicians will also be responsible for providing occasional maintenance support. Will travel (100%) to various projects throughout the United States. Technicians may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our vision and align with our organization's mission and values As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: High School Graduate or Equivalent
GWO BST, ART
certificate 100% travel required High School Diploma / GED Minimum of 2+ years of experience OR minimum 1 year field experience AND graduate of a Wind Tech or accredited Program. Training will include and must have completed: Tower Safety Training (e.g., High-angle rescue or wind tower rescue) LOTO Training Suspended Platform Rigging/De-Rigging Pass Background Check and Drug Screening Valid Driver's License (required to operate company vehicle) Must be able to stand, sit, push, pull, kneel, bend and lift 50 lbs.
