Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a safety technician to join a Semiconductor client in Austin, TX. This person will be joining a team of 14 people
  • 8 technicians and 6 engineers.
This person will be out in the field making observations for at risk behaviors. They need to be able to recognize these at risk behaviors and act on them immediately and accordingly. They will conduct routine safety observations and field inspections throughout the semiconductor fabrication facility. This will include identifying unsafe conditions, behaviors, and potential hazards before incidents occur. They will then document observations, incidents, and corrective actions. They will assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis when necessary and also partner with site leadership to promote a strong safety culture across the project.   • Ability and willingness to exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified
  • OSHA Certification
  • Experience in at least one of the following industries: Semiconductor Manufacturing Oil & Gas Wind Energy Industrial Construction Heavy Manufacturing or similar high-hazard environments
  • Comfortable working in cleanroom and controlled manufacturing environments
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to address safety concerns at all levels
  • Ability to work Monday
  • Friday from 8am
  • 5pm•LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) Certification preferred•Semiconductor experience preferred
