We're supporting a growing organization within the power and renewable energy sector that is looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor to lead high-voltage power transformer installation projects across the US. This is a hands-on field leadership position, supervising installation teams and supporting the installation and commissioning of 230kV+ power transformers .

Please do not apply unless you have: 5-8+ years of experience with 230kV and above power transformer installation or similar field work Hands-on experience moving/positioning large power transformers onto their foundations Hands-on transformer assembly experience , including: Bushing assembly High-voltage lead connections Insulation wrapping Hands-on vacuum oil filling experience These are mandatory requirements. What You'll Be Doing Lead and supervise on-site installation of 230kV+ power transformers Coordinate daily installation activities and ensure projects remain on schedule Supervise mechanical assembly and transformer accessory installation Oversee vacuum oil filling, oil processing and filtration Identify HSE risks and maintain site safety standards Ensure installations comply with technical drawings, procedures and customer requirements Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field Provide daily progress updates to Project Managers and stakeholders Develop and update work instructions and SOPs Train field teams on vacuum oil filling, SAT and functional testing Support inspections, punch lists and final project handover Additional Experience We're Looking For Alongside the mandatory experience above, you'll ideally have experience with: Oil filtration machines and dry air generators Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) Functional testing and transformer testing equipment Transformer lifting activities Wiring accessories including fans, gas relays, pressure relief devices and thermometers to control cabinets/termination boxes Reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams Transformer structures, components, accessories and tooling DGA results Investigating and resolving quality issues

Salary:
