Maintenance Electrician - Otsego, MI Direct Hire Opportunity $35+ per hour Competitive Company Benefits Job Description Seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Maintenance Electrician to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment within a manufacturing facility. The role supports plant operations by minimizing downtime, ensuring safe operation, and keeping equipment running efficiently Responsibilities Repair and maintain all production machines, including Fanuc, Mitsubishi, CNC, and Doss equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable operation. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on both new and older CNC machines using PLCs, I/O, and related control systems. Perform advanced electrical work in an industrial setting, including wiring, panel work, and repairs on systems up to at least 480V. Use PLC troubleshooting techniques to identify faults, interpret ladder logic, and resolve control system problems. Work with I/O systems to verify signals, identify faulty components, and restore proper operation of machine controls. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute repairs and modifications. Perform wiring, re-wiring, and connection of electrical components and systems in accordance with safety standards and best practices. Essential Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting. Journeyman Electrician license preferred. Strong industrial electrical ability, including safe work practices on systems up to a minimum of 480V. Hands-on experience with PLCs, including troubleshooting and fault finding on automated equipment and robotics. Demonstrated skill in electrical troubleshooting for complex machinery in an industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience with wiring, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on production equipment. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a third shift position from10:00pm-6:00am Monday through Friday. The facility is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable indoor work setting. You will work in an industrial environment focused on production equipment and automated systems, using tools and technologies such as PLCs, CNC machines, Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls, Allen-Bradley hardware, and potentially Siemens systems. Pay is competative and they will give a$1.50 shift premium on both 2nd and 3rd shift, also promote from within so there is plenty of room to grow.
