Maintenance Mechanic

Description The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (SMRT) will be responsible for the following:

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (

Ex:

conveyors)

• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures
• Perform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteries
• Enter downtime data in daily log, complete PM sheets
• Electrical, knowledge of basics components
• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment
• Track and store the departments inventory, including spare parts Skills industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, electro mechanical, electrical maintenance, industrial electrical, Troubleshooting, Preventive maintenance, Repair, Electrical troubleshooting, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematic, motors, electrical wiring, plcs, controls systems Top Skills Details industrial maintenance,equipment maintenance,electro mechanical,electrical maintenance,industrial electrical,Troubleshooting,Preventive maintenance,Repair,Electrical troubleshooting,conveyor systems Additional Skills & Qualifications•High school or equivalent diploma•Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays•1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience•4+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures•4+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls•4+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading•4+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles•3+ year experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems•4+ year experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards•3+ year experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Preferred Industries & Equipment:

Candidate from Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment (running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, creating work orders), specifically experience with conveyors

Education:

preferred candidates would have an associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, military training, hands on training related to maintenance field Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.50
