Maintenance Mechanic (FLO)

About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our plant maintenance team. You'll direct technicians, oversee diagnostics and repairs, manage preventive maintenance schedules, and drive continuous improvement — keeping equipment running and production on track. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct maintenance workers in diagnosing, disassembling, and repairing malfunctioning equipment and machinery. Test malfunctioning equipment, determine required repairs, and assign the appropriate mechanic. Observe equipment operation and listen for abnormalities to proactively identify issues before they become failures. Review production schedules, estimate labor requirements, and establish work procedures to meet deadlines. Interpret company policies, safety regulations, blueprints, and job orders to ensure a compliant, safe work environment. Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Plan, schedule, and monitor routine and preventive maintenance programs across the facility. Ensure the parts room is organized and inventory is properly maintained. Requirements 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of electronics, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics Familiarity with refrigeration, heating, and cooling systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting production demands Availability for weekends and holidays as needed Nice to Have Food processing or fresh-cut facility experience Familiarity with Proteus or similar
