Maintenance Tech/Delivery Driver

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician / Delivery Driver to join our equipment rental team. This role is responsible for maintaining our fleet of rental equipment and safely delivering and picking up machinery from customer job sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable operating and transporting heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair:

Perform routine maintenance on rental equipment (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, etc.) Diagnose and complete basic repairs on equipment, including: Tire changes and repairs Basic electrical troubleshooting Hydraulic and mechanical issues (entry-level to moderate) Inspect equipment before and after rentals to ensure proper working condition Maintain service records and report major repair needs

Delivery & Transportation:

Deliver and pick up rental equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and aerial lifts Safely load, secure, and unload equipment on rollback trucks and trailers Provide basic operational instructions to customers upon delivery Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries and pickups Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Qualifications CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required OR willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe If no

must have experience driving and backing trailers Mechanical aptitude with experience in basic equipment or automotive maintenance Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs independently Experience operating construction equipment (skid steers, lifts, excavators) preferred Strong attention to safety and detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, or fleet maintenance CDL with clean driving record Familiarity with DOT regulations and load securement
