Full-time Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in industrial controls and structural steel fabrication equipment. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and infrastructure through expert maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery, focusing on control systems (PLCs, HMIs, sensors and automation equipment). Fabricate, assemble, and repair structural steel components, including frameworks, supports, and custom modifications, using welding, cutting, and assembly techniques. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and control system documentation. Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Ensure compliance with safety standards, protocols, and industry regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on controls and structural steel fabrication. Expertise in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI systems. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, as well as oxy-acetylene cutting and other steel fabrication techniques. Strong understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and structural blueprints. Proven track record of working independently and as part of a team to solve complex technical challenges. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Certification in welding, electrical systems, or controls (e.g., AWS, OSHA, or equivalent) is a plus.
