Full-time Description:
Perform routine maintenance for metal building manufacturer.
Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot, repair, install and upgrade of facility equipment Respond to machine failures Establish good teamwork within the department and with production staff Document machine deficiencies, troubleshooting activities, corrective actions and time required to perform those actions Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facilities, production equipment and material handling equipment Train operators in operator level maintenance May perform welding duties Electrical repair Other duties as assigned Follow all safety policies and procedures; wear all required PPE Position reports to
Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Supervisor Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities:
Basic understanding of use of hand tools Welding experience or ability to learn Basic exposure to variable speed drives Ability to read, write, and understand the English language Working knowledge of mechanical drives, i.e. chain, belt, and gear Able to send, receive email and other electronic communications Ability to read basic blue prints Min. 1
  • 3 yrs. electrical experience. Ability to use diagnostic equipment including dial indicators, digital multimeter Ability to listen to, interpret and follow directions Willingness to learn and expand knowledge and skills Valid driver's license Forklift certification or ability to pass certification within first 30 days. Monday
  • Friday, 3:30pm
  • 2:00am Overtime scheduled as needed.
