Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on facilities to ensure optimal performance. Perform residential painting, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. Oversee and supervise maintenance projects, coordinating with other staff as necessary. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and other related equipment. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Fabricate components or parts as needed for repairs or improvements. Read and interpret schematics to effectively diagnose issues in various systems. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally. Skills Proficiency in supervising maintenance staff and managing projects effectively. Strong command of the English language for clear communication with team members and clients. Experience in residential painting techniques and best practices. Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs. Ability to fabricate parts or components using appropriate tools and techniques. Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers. Competence in reading schematics and technical drawings for accurate repairs. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with tenants and staff.
